Bees: To all my friends who have a broken heart

My dearest amiga,

You are the kindest, sweetest, and greatest person I've ever met in my life. You are not typical, of course, because you are extraordinary. Please never doubt your uniqueness; never doubt that there is something wrong with you just because certain people can not handle your sensitivity, subtlety, philosophical concerns, and thoughts that were far different from your peers. You are one of a kind, be proud of your fabulous self! The people who can't handle you simply can't. They're just not for you. No questions asked. Nobody is at fault, nor is anyone responsible for anything. You don't need to change your interests, appearances, habits, or anything that makes you be you to suit them. And they also don't need to change anything for you, either. I believe in Will Smith when he said: "Don't chase people. Be yourself, do your own thing, and work hard. The right people - the ones who really belong in your life - will come to you. And stay." I hope you will believe that, too.

Listen to me.

When things don't work out, say goodbye and let it go.

You will grieve. You will cry, scream, and go wild. You will be paralyzed with the idea that you won't be able to love anyone again. You will be shattered. You will never be the same.

But you will heal. You will move on. You will be able to love again. You will be loved. You will not be the same; you're better.

I reckoned that courage is that after you have loved someone wholeheartedly and been deeply hurt, you can still get up, move on, keep hoping for the future and be willing to fall in love again with a heart full of passion like the very first day.

You are courageous. I know you're going to be awesome again, soon.

I'm always here, I care for you, and I love you to the moon and back!

Annie
