Today marks the dawn of my twenty-third year
A fresh start for new beginnings and spreading cheer.
I'm still learning and growing, but that's okay,
Each year brings new adventures, come what may.
I'll celebrate with cake and balloons,
And dance around to my favorite tunes.
I'll laugh and smile, and maybe shed a tear,
As I reflect on another wonderful year.
I'm not where I thought I'd be at 23,
But that's just life's unpredictable decree.
I'll keep moving forward, and take it in stride,
With hope in my heart and a twinkle in my eye.
So here's to another year of life,
Full of laughter, love, and maybe a little strife.
But I'll face it all with courage and glee,
For turning 23 is just the start of my journey.
My birthday, March 21st, is a pretty special day because it happens to coincide with some amazing worldwide events.
Firstly, it's World Poetry Day - how cool is that? As a lover of words and language, I couldn't be prouder to share my birthday with a celebration of poetic expression. But that's not all - it's also the International Day of Forests, a reminder of the importance of preserving our natural environment. The fact that I was born on a day dedicated to such an important cause fills me with hope and purpose. And as if that wasn't enough, March 21st is also the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, and World Social Work Day. These events serve as a reminder of the ongoing struggles for justice and equality in our world and inspire me to continue fighting for what's right. And finally, let's not forget that March 21st is the spring equinox - the first day of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere - a time of renewal and growth.
I like to think that I was born on this day for a reason, that there's a higher purpose to my existence. Maybe I'm meant to use my voice and my creativity to make the world a better place. Whatever the reason, I'm proud to share my birthday with such important causes and movements, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds.
